Concealed Shipping Damages
DC Signs is not responsible nor liable for any damages on the sign that may occur after the signs left our facility. We do our best to secure and protect the sign through labels and harnesses, however, we are not responsible for the sign it is in transit and in possession of freight carriers or after it has been delivered. We offer shipping accommodations and documentation processing not meaning we hold any partnership with freight carrier or assume any responsibility over any cost involved. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect crate upon arrival for any visible damages, and make any notations or exceptions directly to freight carrier before signing and accepting the crate. It is the customer's responsibility to file any claims directly with freight carrier at the time of delivery. When receiving an intact crate, it is the customer's responsibility to open crate and inspect the goods for any technical failure and report them to us within 24 hours.

DC Signs backs up their products with a 3 year warranty on any defective component or malfunction caused by unsatisfactory craftsmanship. This refers to, and only includes any items on the body of the sign such as but not limited to:

Our neon units are covered by a 3 year warranty only when wired and installed on a raceway in our line of production. Once a neon unit was replaced and therefore rewired on a race way, the rest of the neon units of that sign will only have a 90 days warranty after the shipping date of replacement neon unit.
Field assembled neon units are covered for 6 months after the original shipping date on records.
Replacement units will be shipped to customer at no charge after a formal and satisfactory claim has been submitted, processed and it is proven that the neon unit was correctly wired or installed. Customer has 24 hours to report any broken replacement neon unit before a second unit is shipped. Customer has the option to replace a defective neon with a local vendor and forwarding the cost to us, which will be credited towards their next purchase or reimbursed for the cost of the unit at our prices not a the vendor's they used. This does not include refunding, crediting or paying for any labor involved on removing, shipping or installing defective items. Neon units are the only item that will be replaced if they arrive broken as concealed damages and only if reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Customer has 24 hours to report any broken neon units after receiving the sign the first time.
Neon transformers are covered or backed up by their manufacturer's warranty. Warranties may vary between one and other. A replacement transformer will be shipped to customer after a formal and satisfactory claim has submitted and processed by customer, directly with the transformer manufacturer and after it has been approved by transformer manufacturer for the defective transformer to be replaced and shipped. This may take an indefinite period of time and it goes beyond our control. To expedite the process, it is highly recommended customer contacts the manufacturer for a local distributor. This will cut down the time it takes to properly submit and process a claim, shipping cost and waiting time.
